Stacking simple strategies to flip conversations like pancakes
To flip conversations like pancakes (the ones that go to plan, back in the pan!) then it’s about stacking up simple strategies:
I love pancakes. I’m happy making a huge batch for weekend brunch, in my PJs, and freezing them for when we’re short on time.
Great that it’s falling on Half Term this year. Happy Pancake Day!
Stacking up these simple steps, I teach people to flip conversations confidently, so they don’t fear what’s coming:
No isn’t negative. It’s information.
Something seems off. Patterns show you something.
Being nice covers up. Being clear gets you understood.
Emotion isn’t a problem, it signposts what matters.
The conversation isn’t the risk. Avoiding it is.
The journey beats jargon. When your direction’s right, words follow without a script.
It’s never a competition. You want clarity, not winning.
A reaction isn’t who they are. It indicates the impact on them.
Action builds confidence. Practice beats theory. So we make steps simple.
Confronting takes courage and shows care. It’s not a battle.
Not forgetting that MISCHIEF makes it manageable, to stop it feeling heavy.
And the topping is your natural speaking style, not some manufactured script that sounds fake.
WHAT’S YOUR TOPPING?

“The advice is immediately usable. This is training you can put into practice the minute you walk out of the room.
It’s memorable, transferable, and rooted in real world situations not theory for theory’s sake. If you want support that is practical, empowering, and genuinely helpful for navigating difficult conversations, Clare is absolutely the person to go to.”
